Welcome to the Space Coast, FL and my personal Blog. It's an absolutly beautiful day at the Space Coast today, Sunny, close to 78 and very little humidity. It's a great day for a shuttle launch. However we don't expect another launch until Feb. 12th, 2009.This photo is from our launch on 2006. It was wonderful. The 4th of July 2006 Space Shuttle Discovery made history. It was the first Shuttle launched on the 4th of July. It was SPECTACULAR!! We are so proud of our Astronaughts. Jim and I had great seats for the launch. I was suited up with my Nikon D70s DSLR and Nikor 300 mm ED. I got some pretty good shots.
