Beautiful Bengals

Our gentle and loving twin Bengal boys love to spend time in my Studio. Boomer and BamBam love to cuddle up and snooze often. This is a pick of them napping on my ironing board. They also love smooches and tummy rubs.
BamBam is our Alpha Male who loves to take charge. His favorite toys are two stuffed animals, a small brown puppy and big soft green lizard which is almost as big as him. We can't believe how smart and loving he is.
Boomer, we call him Boo Boo, is our beautiful cuddle bug. His favorite thing to do is cuddle up in my lap. He loves to help change the bedding. He's sneaky, quick, happy and spoiled rotten. He will always be our little baby.

My new Hippie Bag

I had to create my on version of Lazy Girl Designs Hippie Bag. This little bag just bounces along when you carry it. How much fun can a girl have while shopping with this little bouncing fringe bag. My bags were published in the Leisure Arts Newsletter. Thanks so much to Joan Hawley of Lazy Girl Designs for sending pictures of my bags to Leisure Arts.

The Cup of Coffe Bag

New Years day was my sewing day. I completed my Lazy Girl Cup of Coffee bag. Mock Crock is so much fun. No animals were killed in the making of this project.

Wednesday Friends Day at the Zoo Necklace

Jim and I are members of the Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber holds a Wednesday Friendsday gathering once a month at interesting locations. One I really enjoyed was held at the Brevard County Zoo. The turnout was large and we met so many new friends as well as got to stroll around the Zoo. I wanted to dress for the adventure as many other members did. I designed and made a cute little African animal necklace for the ocassion. I received many nice comments on the necklace and three women asked if I would make and sell one like it. I politely declined due to the many hours Jim and I work. The animal beads are carved from light weight balsa wood and finnished with paint. I chose Swarovski Crystals in beautiful jewel tones to add some sparkle to the necklace. The ear wires for my Elephant ear rings are 12k gold, making them light and easy to ware. I hope to make more fun projects in the near future.

Jim and the Pool

Jim, my outgoing and always friendly husband, loves to swim in our pool as often as he can. He heats the pool to 90 so it feels like bath water. It's great having your own little puddle of water to enjoy. I tell him to be sure to wear his swimming trunks but most of the time he doesn't listen. Good thing we have nice landscaping, palms and privacy fence. You won't find me in the pool without my suit.

Welcome to the Space Coast

Welcome to the Space Coast, FL and my personal Blog. It's an absolutly beautiful day at the Space Coast today, Sunny, close to 78 and very little humidity. It's a great day for a shuttle launch. However we don't expect another launch until Feb. 12th, 2009.
This photo is from our launch on 2006. It was wonderful. The 4th of July 2006 Space Shuttle Discovery made history. It was the first Shuttle launched on the 4th of July. It was SPECTACULAR!! We are so proud of our Astronaughts. Jim and I had great seats for the launch. I was suited up with my Nikon D70s DSLR and Nikor 300 mm ED. I got some pretty good shots.
